Huawei Nova 6 Gets Certified In China

The Huawei Nova 6 has cleared its certification from the 3C mobile authentication platform from China. The device is listed with the WLZAL10 model number which is said to be the 4G-only model. The Nova 6 5G variant has a model number WLZ-AN00, but has not cleared the 3C certification yet.

The 3C listing suggests the device will come with an HW-100400C00 charger which will deliver 40W fast-charging speed. It is worth noting that this feature was previously tipped for the 5G variant. Apart from the fast charging support, the listing doesn't reveal the other features of the handset.

The previous leaks surrounding the Huawei Nova 6 suggest a fascia similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10, but with a pill-shaped notch and almost bezel-less design. The notch is likely to accommodate dual-cameras but the sensors are undisclosed yet.

While there is no specific information available on the display, we can expect Huawei to at least offer an FHD+ AMOLED panel on the Nova 6. The leak further points at a quad-rear camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor.

The other sensors could be a 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. It remains to be seen which chipset Huawei uses for its upcoming handset and if it comes in single or multiple RAM and storage configurations.

In the software department, the Huawei Nova 6 is likely to ship with Android 10 OS with an EMUI 10 skin overlay. It is likely to be equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, and as the 3C certification reveals, it will come with 40W fast charging support. The device might go official later this year. However, no official launch date is announced yet.
