Huawei Nova 6 is the upcoming flagship handset buzzing via leaks. The handset was tipped to launch by December in the Chinese market with both 4G and 5G connectivity options. Now, an official teaser has confirmed its launch date. Details are as follows:

Huawei Nova 6 Gets An Official Launch Date

The Huawei Nova 6 is scheduled to launch on December 5 in China. An official teaser poster reveals the launch of Huawei's upcoming 5G premium handset. The posters also highlight some of the primary features to be offered by the Nova 6.

Amongst the tipped features is a punch-hole display with a dual-selfie camera. One of the sensors upfront is said to be equipped with a Selfie Super Night Scene 2.0 mode, while the other will capture 105-degree wide-angle selfies.

The device has been previously tipped to be powered by a Kirin 990 SoC. And, considering it will be 5G-enabled, it is likely to be a Kirin 990 5G chipset. It is said to come with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256 GB storage configuration.

The Huawei Nova 6 is likely to ship with an Android 10 OS with a custom user interface. The handset has been leaked with a 6.4-inch super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole is said to house a 32MP primary and a 12MP secondary selfie camera.

At the rear, it is speculated to pack a 60MP primary sensor aided by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device recently got certified by 3C which is a Chinese mobile authentication platform; revealing a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging.

While Huawei has revealed the Nova 6' launch in China, it is yet to announce its availability in India and the remaining markets. However, we can expect a launch sometimes soon after it goes official in China.
