In Pictures: Honor 5X launched with Sensible Fingerprint Scanner at Rs 12,999

    Shenzhen-based handset maker, Huawei has launched the successor of Honor 4X smartphone in the Indian market as promised. Codenamed Honor 5X, this device comes with unibody metal build and fingerprint sensor on the back of the device which can unlock under 0.5 seconds.

    Anyhow, the Honor 5X is up for the pre-order on Flipkart and Amazon India and will be available for hands-on starting from February 1st.

    Coming to the specifications, the Honor 5X comes with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU under the board.

    As usual, this device comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM with expansion slot up to 128GB via microSD card slot. This device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of EMUI 3.1 out of the box.

    The camera part is handled by 13MP on rear with LED Flash, Sony / Samsung sensor and 5MP on front with wide angle lens, f/2.4 aperture used for selfies. Also, the Honor 5X measures 8.15mm thickness in dimensions and weighs around 158grams.

    Other connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Box speakers with Smart PA audio chip. This device is powered by a 3000mAh battery on board.

    The Huawei Honor 5X comes in Silver and Sunset Gold colors along with price tag of Rs. 12,999.
