The phone has already made an appearance in a 360-degree renders video and was also certified by the FCC recently. To add to that barrage, now the device has been leaked in live images. The images suggest that the device resemble a lot like the iPhone X. Apart from the iPhone X-inspired screen notch, it also has a similar vertical arrangement for the dual camera setup.

If the reports are to believed, the smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. However, the images contradict the FCC's measurements which mentioned 2280 x 1080 resolution and a 6.1-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. To complicate things even further, the recently leaked 3D renders show a 5.7-inch display.

The smartphone will be made of glass and metal, measuring approximately 148 x 71 x 7.2 mm. It will feature a USB Type-C port on the bottom alongside the 3.5mm audio jack. However, the higher-end variants are likely to come sans the headphone jack.

The Huawei P20 Lite will draw power from a 2900mAh battery as per the FCC certification. For added security, the device houses a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

As for the OS, it is expected to run the latest Android Oreo wrapped around company's in-house EMUI 8.0. The smartphone is likely to have a Kirin 970 or an updated Kirin 659 Soc at its heart. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and there will be another variant that will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
