Huawei P20 may not come with triple rear cameras at all; reveals TENAA
Huawei will unveil the P20 series on March 27 at an event in Paris, France.
Huawei P20 series of smartphones have lately been making rounds on the internet. The company is expected to launch the smartphones on March 27 in Paris, France. From what we have been hearing so far, the P20 lineup will include the regular P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite. Last week, the P20 and P20 Plus were spotted on TENAA certification site.

Unfortunately at that time, the TENAA listing didn't reveal any details about the smartphones. Guess what, the Huawei P20 has again made an appearance on the Chinese certification site. While the site has not given away any specifications, the smartphone's images are there. If the images turn out to be legit, the P20 will not feature a triple rear camera setup in contrary with recent rumors.
No triple cameras?
The rumor mill has always hinted that the Huawei P20 will come equipped with triple cameras at its back. However, the images on TENAA shows no trace of a triple camera setup.
Instead, the phone has a Leica-branded dual camera setup arranged vertically. The rear cameras are also accompanied by a LED flash which is placed below.
When looked from the side, you will notice that the rear camera module is slightly protruded.
Blue colored metallic body
The images also suggest that the Huawei P20 will have a Blue colored variant. The smartphone also appears to sport a metal chassis with slightly curved edges.
Coming to the front part, the Huawei P20 seems to feature an elongated display with a physical home button. While it is not clear from the image, the smartphone is said to have minimal bezels. On the right side, the power button and the volume rocker is placed.
Expected features
As suggested by the official invite as well as earlier leaks, the Huawei P20 will be powered by Huawei's own Hi-Silicon Kirin 970 processor. This chipset is also present on the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones.
Since the Kirin 970 SoC comes with neural-network processor unit (NPU), it can handle tasks related to AI and deep learning.
On the software front, the smartphone will arrive pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
