Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite launched in India: Specs, price and availability
Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite have finally made their way to the Indian market. The USP of the new phones is the AI-powered photography. Notably, the P20 Pro and P20 Lite also support Google ARCore.
The much-awaited Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite have finally made their way to the Indian market. Both the smartphones were launched today at an event held in Delhi. These are flagship phones from Huawei which come with impressive specifications and features.

The USP of the new phones is the AI-powered photography. Notably, the P20 Pro and P20 Lite also support Google ARCore. The P20 Pro flaunts a triple rear camera setup and it's the first phone to feature a triple camera module.
Huawei launched the P20 Pro and P20 Lite back in March.
Huawei P20Pro and P20 Lite look identical to the iPhone X. They have the same edge-to-edge display, and the famous notch at the top.
Huawei P20 Pro Specs
P20 Pro is the star of Huawei's P20 lineup. As stated, the key highlight of the smartphone is the Leica triple camera setup at its back. The rear camera is capable of capturing DSLR-level images even in low-light conditions. There is a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP Monochrome sensor, and an 8MP 3X Telephoto sensor.
The rear camera comes with Intelligent Motion Detection, no shutter lags, and instant focus system. The camera is capable of taking pictures in 960fps Super Slow Motion. Moreover, the camera is equipped with both EIS and OIS. The P20 Pro also has a 24MP front-camera for selfies.
Coming to other aspects, the Huawei P20 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch OLED FullView Display. It is powered by a Huawei Kirin 970 processor, which is clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. The smartphone packs a large 4,000mAh battery with SuperCharge support too. The P20 Pro carries IP67 certification for water and dust protection.
Huawei P20 Lite Specs
P20 Lite is fitted with a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,280 pixels) FullView display with the aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, it is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 659 processor. The memory aspect of the smartphone is taken care of by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The smartphone features a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup, which is comprised of a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 right out of the box. A 3,000mAh battery, face recognition technology and NFC support round up the list. Pre-orders for P20 Lite are open in Poland, and the smartphone is priced at PLN 1,599 (approximately Rs. 30,300) in the country.
Talking about the design, the P20 Lite sports a design identical to the Apple iPhone X. It has the same edge-to-edge display with a notch at the top.
Price and Availability
Huawei P20 Pro is priced at Rs 64,999 and the P20 Lite comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999. Both the smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India from May 3.
