Huawei P20 Pro tipped to feature a massive 40MP RGB lens
Huawei P20 Pro will come with a triple camera setup at its back.
Huawei P20 series is all set to get unveiled on March 27 in Paris. The P20 lineup consists of the P20, P20 Lite and P20 Pro. The P20 Lite has reportedly gone official in Czech Republic. Further, the phone was briefly listed on Huawei's consumer website in Poland. Interestingly, the newly launched Huawei Nova 3e is actually the Chinese variant of the P20 Lite.

The other two phones of the Huawei P20 series are still being anticipated. With less than a week left for the launch, WinFuture has leaked the entire specs sheet of the P20 Pro. Previous reports had suggested that the smartphone would come with a triple rear camera setup, but now we know what kind of lenses will be included. According to the Website, the P20 Pro's rear camera will feature a primary 40MP RGB lens, a 20MP Monochrome lens, and an 8MP Telephoto lens.
It's unclear what will be the functionality of the 40MP sensor. Currently, there are no other phones that offer such a camera. If you recall, the Lumia 1020 had a 41MP camera which was capable of taking pictures and videos in super zoom without compromising the details.
The leak further claims that the Huawei P20 Pro will be offering equivalent of 3X zoom through its Telephoto lens, and it is also expected to shoot 960 frames per second slow motion. At the front, the smartphone is said to be equipped with a 24MP selfie snapper.
Talking about other specifications, the P20 Pro is speculated to sport a 6.1 inch OLED display with 2,240×1,080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it is likely to be powered by a Kirin 970 processor clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space.

On the software front, the P20 Pro will reportedly run on Android 8.1 Oreo with custom UI on top. A 4,000mAh battery is said to be powering the entire package. Expected connectivity options onboard include WLAN 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C with USB 3.1.
If you are wondering about the price, WinFuture suggests the P20 Pro could cost around 899 Euros (approximately Rs. 71,900).
