Huawei's upcoming Nexus smartphone to come with Snapdragon 820 inside?
According to a latest leak by tipster @evleaks the next gen Nexus device is supposed to come with some interesting specs! This is the first time we are going to see a Nexus device from a Chinese OEM. The new leak comes a few days after a purported image of the Huawei Nexus device was seen flying round the web.

Previously Google used to partner with either of LG and Motorola for their Nexus devices. But in a bid to make their handsets cheaper the company tied up with Huawei this year. In fact some leaks also suggest that we will be receiving to variants of Nexus devices this year-a lower priced one from Huawei and a costlier one from Korean manufacturer LG.

Snapdragon 820 inside:
The report suggest that the device will come with a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560x1440) display which tips the ppi (pixels per inch) scale at 515. But the best part is that the device is rumoured to come with a latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM (now a flagship benchmark in the industry set by the Taiwanese OEM Asus with their Zenfone 2). Not much detail is know about the SD820 as of now except a few leaks (which we believe are not accurate).
Launch date:
Just like every other year Google is planning to launch their new device in the last quarter of 2014. If the device does come with a SD820 inside, it will be one of the first (if not the first) to sport the latest generation of Qualcomm SoCs. But just in case the leaks of SD820 powered Mi5 Plus come out to be true though, the Nexus would lose the throne!
Fingerprint sensor and more:
Google has also made upgrades to the camera department as it will now come with a 20.7MP rear camera, possibly with a Sony sensor and an 8MP front snapper. The camera will be capable of shooting 4K videos. There's also a word that the Nexus might come with a fingerprint sensor on the back which we feel is a highly possible considering the fact that Android M has native fingerprint support. It will also help Nexus users to use their devices for placing payments at restaurants, hyper retail stores and what not!
Going by the track record of the tipster we firmly believe that there's a high probability of these being the final specification of the Nexus device. Have a look at the leak itself.
