We will see four different variants of the Huawei P9 this year. Popular leakster Evan Blass has said via Venturebeat that Huawei will release four variants of its P9 smartphones.
The report states that four P9 variants will be dubbed as P9, P9 Lite, P9 Max and an upgraded P9 that comes with improved features as compared to the other three. The P9 is a regular device while the P9 and the P9 Lite will be budget friendly devices.
There is also a fourth variant, which is expected to be a premium model though it does not confirm if the smartphone will be the premium model among the four. The fourth variant is expected to come with an improved camera, dual lens and a 12MP dual sensor. None of the four P9 phones will come with a QHD display resolution to improve the smartphone's battery life. Not having a QHD display will save battery life.
The Huawei P9 had been leaked in images earlier this week. Reports had earlier said that the Huawei P9 will have a 5.9" display with an octa-core Kirin processor and 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is also expected to be backed by a 3000mAh battery.
It is also said that none of the four P9 variants will be announced at the MWC that will be held in the coming days. It is expected that Huawei will launch the phones separately hosting an event of its own.
