    The Chinese handset maker Huawei has announced the official launch date of Honor Play 5X as rumored earlier. As per the company Honor Play 5X will be launched at an event in Beijing on October 10.

    Recently, this device was spotted on the TENAA listing revealing the specifications of the device ahead of its launch. As of now, this device is available in Black color variant and expected to be launched in other colors.

    Huawei Honor Play 5X - Key Specifications

    Huawei Honor Play 5X, will sport a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Dragontrail Glass for scratch resistance. It is clocked at 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood.

    On the memory storage, this device is likely to come with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot. Talking about the software, this device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

    Moving on, the Play 5X is expected to flaunt 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, 5MP front-facing camera. This dual SIM device supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Anyhow we dont have any information about the battery life of the device.
