Huawei Y6s Renders Leaked: Budget-friendly Price Expected

Huawei Y6s renders have recently surfaced online and it could be the brand's budget-friendly handset. The Huawei Y6s has been codenamed as Jakarta. And, the model will be an inferior version than the Huawei Y6 smartphone. As far as specs are concerned, the device could sport a 6.1-inch waterdrop notched display with HD+ resolution. The render shows Huawei's name, placed at the chin of the handset.


The phone can be seen with a single rear sensor of 13MP along with a fingerprint scanner. The rear side also flaunts two different design patterns. The mobile phone's SoC is rumored to be paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM storage options. Other than that, there are no spec details of the upcoming phone.

On the other hand, renders of a mystery phone codenamed as Merida which might be a Pro version of the Huawei Y6s. There is also a chance that the phone could launch with another brand name.

The leaked image reveals that the device is stacked with a vertical dual-camera system at the back, along with an LED flash which is placed in between the two sensors. The image shows a written text as "AI Camera" at the back. We can expect the device to ship with an in-display fingerprint reader.

To recall, the Huawei Y6 was launched with a 6.09-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The handset ships with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB in-built storage, and an Android 9 Pie OS. It sports a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera lens. And, the phone was launched in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Amber Brown color options. Lastly, the price of the device is expected to start from Rs. 10,500 for the given storage variant.
