IFA 2015: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Launched with 4K TRILUMINOS Display
After too much of leaks and speculations, the Japan-based Sony has officially pulled the wraps of its much expected Xperia Z5 series in the IFA 2015 event today. The series of device includes the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact, and the world's first 4K device Xperia Z5 Premium.
Moving on to the specifications, Xperia Z5 Premium comes with a 5.5-inch display with 4K TRILUMINOUS technology with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels which is translated into 806 ppi. Also this device comes packed with X-Reality engine which is used to enhance the display quality.
It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU besides 3GB of RAM under the hood.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a large 32GB internal memory, with the capability to take a 200GB external microSD card, which offers extra room for 4K videos and movies, and images too.
On the camera part, the Xperia Z5 comes with 23MP rear camera, which can focus the subject in just 0.03 seconds, which according to the company, is faster than the blink of a human eye, while the front side is equipped with 5MP shooter on board.
Further, this device comes with the Fingerprint sensor integrated on the power button. Meanwhile, like any other flagship from Sony, this also comes under IPX5 and IPX8 rating, which is waterproof and dustproof. In terms of the software, this device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
This device is powered by a humongous 3430mAh battery along with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology on the device. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be available in Chrome, Black, Gold color variant and will be available for sale starting from November.
