Infinix GT 50 Pro Is Coming To India With A Gaming Controller: All We Know
Infinix is preparing to launch the GT 50 Pro smartphone in India on October 27, and the phone is bringing more than just gaming-focused hardware. The company has also revealed a set of accessories designed to give users more ways to play, from attaching physical controls to the phone to connecting it to a TV. Here's all we know ahead of the launch.

Infinix GT 50 Pro: Specifications And Features
The GT 50 Pro will feature a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, with support for frame rates of up to 144fps in compatible games. It will also include GT Trigger 2.0 shoulder buttons, giving players additional physical controls without needing to attach the separate controller.
Infinix is also bringing its HydroFlow liquid cooling technology to the phone, along with a 6,500mAh battery. The design takes inspiration from supercars and features dynamic RGB lighting, keeping the phone's gaming-focused look in line with the GT series.
Do note that a 144Hz display does not mean every game will run at 144fps. Actual frame rates will depend on the game, supported settings and the phone's performance.
Dedicated Gaming Controller And Other Accessories
As mentioned already, the smartphone is expected to launch with a dedicated gaming controller called the GT NX Controller. It is for players who prefer physical controls over tapping a touchscreen. It attaches to the GT 50 Pro, with a grip on either side of the phone. Infinix says it features Hall-effect controls and configurable inputs, giving players more control over how they play compatible games.
The controller can also split into two separate handles that connect over Bluetooth. This allows two players to use the separate controls in compatible games. However, the feature will depend on whether a game supports this type of input.
For those who want to play mobile games on a television or monitor, the GT NX Station is designed to connect the GT 50 Pro to a larger display. It supports output of up to 4K resolution at 60Hz on compatible setups.
The station also offers 9-in-1 connectivity, including HDMI, USB ports, wired Ethernet, expandable storage and audio connections. This means users can connect supported peripherals and accessories while playing, rather than relying entirely on the phone's built-in controls and display.
Now, we all know how heat can become an issue when playing demanding games for long periods, and the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 is designed to help with that. The magnetic accessory attaches to the back of the GT 50 Pro and uses 12W thermoelectric cooling.
It also supports 15W wireless charging and includes RGB lighting. On the GT 50 Pro, the cooler supports wireless bypass charging, a feature intended to help manage heat and reduce battery stress during gameplay.
Infinix GT 50 Pro India Launch Date
Infinix will launch the GT 50 Pro in India on October 27. Along with the smartphone, we may also get to see the GT NX Controller, GT NX Station and GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0.
The company has not yet announced pricing for the phone or the accessories. It is also unclear whether the accessories will be available individually or sold as bundles with the GT 50 Pro.
