Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G Launch in India Tipped: Check Design, Key Specifications
Infinix may be preparing to expand its Hot 70 lineup with a new 5G smartphone.
According to a report by PassionateGeekz, the company is working on the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G, which could make its debut in India in the coming months. While Infinix hasn't officially acknowledged the device yet, the leak offers an early look at what the phone may bring to the budget 5G segment.

Dot Matrix Display Could Return
One of the more distinctive details mentioned in the leak is the presence of a rear-mounted Dot Matrix display.
Infinix has experimented with secondary rear displays on some of its previous devices, using them for notifications, charging information, and other quick alerts. The Hot 70 Pro 5G could continue that approach, giving users a small information panel on the back of the phone.
The report also suggests the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera housed inside a punch-hole cutout.
What remains unclear is whether the phone will inherit the temperature-sensitive rear panel seen on the recently launched Hot 70 4G (India launch unconfirmed for now).
Dimensity 7100 Chip and Android 16 Tipped
Under the hood, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is expected to feature MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 processor.
The device could launch with up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage. Software is said to be handled by Android 16-based XOS 16 right out of the box.
The display is tipped to measure 6.76 inches and offer HD+ resolution.
Large Battery Could Be Part of the Package
Battery capacity appears to be another focus area for the upcoming device.
According to the leak, the Hot 70 Pro 5G may pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. If accurate, the combination could appeal to users looking for extended battery life without moving into a significantly higher price bracket.
India Launch Timeline
While Infinix has yet to announce a launch timeline, the report points to a July-August 2026 debut in India.
