Infinix Hot S3 sold out within 120 seconds in the first flash sale

Infinix Hot S3 that was launched in the last week in India went on sale for the first time in the country yesterday exclusively via the online retailer Flipkart. The flash sale debuted at 12 PM on Monday and got over quickly. Given that it is a budget selfie-centric smartphone, the device has gone out of the stock within a matter of a few seconds.

Unsurprisingly, the Infinix Hot S3 has been sold out in just 120 seconds during the flash sale that was held on Flipkart yesterday. Having said that it is a selfie-centric smartphone with a 20MP selfie camera at the front, it remains clear that the device will be a rival to similar devices launched by the Chinese companies. The company is bullish that the Infinix Hot S3 will be a game changer in the Indian market as it has received an overwhelming response in the first flash sale.

Infinix announced the Hot S3 back in the last week in two variants. One variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage capacity and the other variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. These models are priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 10,999 and both support expandable storage support up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Specs wise, the Infinix smartphone adorns a 5.65-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The full-screen design of the smartphone has pushed the fingerprint sensor to its rear. The hardware aspects of the Hot S3 smartphone from Infinix comprise of an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space.

For imaging, the Infinix Hot S3 makes use of a 13MP rear camera with FHD 1080p video recording, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The selfie camera is a 20MP sensor with dual LED soft flash light, a similar f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. This makes the smartphone a budget selfie-centric device for the selfie enthusiasts in the country.

The other goodies of the Infinix Hot S3 that has managed to sell out in less than two minutes are Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Dual SIM support. The device employs a 4000mA battery to keep the lights turned on.
