Infinix Launches Note 40 Pro 5G Series With MagCharge Wireless Charging Technology

The much-awaited Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series is finally here, the first Android phone to feature MagCharge technology in India. Infinix bundles self-developed MagKit, which includes a phone case MagCase, a magnetic charging pad MagPad and the industry's thinnest and lightest wireless magnetic power bank MagPower.

The Note 40 Pro 5G series is the segment's first phone to bring an AI Active Halo Lighting feature. With the new Note series phones, Infinix introduces its first self-developed Cheetah X1 Chip, designed to optimize power management. Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series Features

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series allows users to experience three dynamic charging modes along with 20W wireless charging. The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ packs a 4,600 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging which claims to take just 12 minutes to charge 50 percent of the battery in smart mode and 9 minutes in Hypermode.

On the other hand, the Note 40 Pro comes with a slightly large 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support that is claimed to take 26 minutes to charge 50 percent of the battery in smart mode. Both smartphones come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1300 nits peak brightness.

Infinix has used the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor for both units. For imaging, there is a 108MP triple camera system including a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series smartphones get a 32MP selfie camera.

On the software front, both devices run on Android 14-based XOS 14 custom skin with Infinix promising to provide two years of Android updates and three years of security updates with the new phones.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, while the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ is priced at Rs 24,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model. There is an instant discount of Rs 2,000 for HDFC and SBI Bank credit card users, which brings the starting price to Rs 19,999.
