Infinix Note 40 5G with Wireless MagCharge Support Launching in India Today: Full Specs, Expected Pricing
Infinix is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its Note series in India today. The Infinix Note 40 5G will debut as the third smartphone in the line-up, following the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G and Note 40 Pro+ 5G.

Infinix Note 40 5G Launch and Expected Price in India
The Infinix Note 40 5G is launching in India at 12 noon today. Following the launch, the handset will go on sale through Flipkart. Infinix has also announced a limited time offer on the Note 40 5G by bundling it with a MagPad wireless charger.
We believe, the Infinix Note 40 5G price in India will start from under Rs 15,000 with offers, so you can expect the original price to range between Rs 16,000 to Rs 17,000 for the base model. Now, here's a look at the Infinix Note 40 5G's specifications.
Infinix Note 40 5G Specifications
Infinix latest affordable smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The chip will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. While Infinix does claim to offer up to 16GB of RAM, 8GB of that could be offered as virtual RAM.
The Note 40 5G sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Moreover, the screen will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. On the software front, the Note 40 5G runs on Android 14-based XOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
Infinix promises two years of Android OS updates and three years of regular security patches with the Note 40 5G. For optics, the Infinix Note 40 5G will feature a 108 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a couple of 2 MP sensors (Depth & Macro).
Up front, the Note 40 5G is expected to use a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The Note 40 5G will also feature a Voice-Activated Halo Light on the back that alerts you to notifications such as incoming calls, messages, and more.
The Infinix Note 40 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging and 15W wireless MagCharge support. The phone also supports reverse wireless charging and a dedicated X1 Cheetah chip for power management. The Infinix Note 40 5G also comes with Bypass Charging 2.0 and AI Charging Protection.
