Infinix Note 40X 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 120Hz Display Launched in India

Infinix has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its Note 40 series in India. The Infinix Note 40X 5G arrives in India's sub-15K segment but misses out on the Wireless MagCharge support that has become synonymous with the Note 40 series.

The Infinix Note 40X 5G also debuts as the most affordable phone in the line-up with a MediaTek chipset, a super-smooth display, a triple-camera setup, a large battery, and dual-stereo speakers.

The Infinix Note 40X 5G price in India starts from Rs 14,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/256GB variant will set you back Rs 15,999. The Infinix Note 40X 5G is offered in Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Lime Green color options.

Infinix is offering a discount of up to Rs 1,500 for transactions using HDFC Bank and SBI credit and debit cards. Additionally, No Cost EMI payment options start from Rs 2,250. The Infinix Note 40X 5G will go on sale in India on August 9 at 02:00 pm (IST) via Flipkart.

Infinix Note 40X 5G Specifications

Infinix's latest affordable 5G smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Note 40X 5G sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with a Dynamic Bar feature that attempts to mimic the iPhone's Dynamic Island. The Infinix Note 40X 5G packs dual-stereo speakers with DTS support. The phone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support.

For optics, the Infinix Note 40X 5G features a 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, a 2MP macro unit, and a third AI lens. The Note 40X also boasts an 8MP selfie camera. The Infinix Note 40X 5G runs Android 14-based XOS 14 out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 5G, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and more.
