Infinix Note 50 Series Launched with Active Halo AI Lighting, MagCharge, JBL Speakers, and More

Infinix has officially launched the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro in Indonesia, bringing AI-powered enhancements, fast charging, and upgraded cameras to its mid-range lineup.

While 5G models are expected later this month, the current 4G variants focus on delivering a balance of performance and affordability.

Display and Performance

Both models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution (2436 x 1080 pixels). The 1,300-nit peak brightness ensures clear visibility even in bright conditions, and 2160Hz PWM dimming helps reduce eye strain.

Powering the phones is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, paired with the Mali-G57 GPU. The Note 50 comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the Note 50 Pro offers 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB options, with up to 12GB of virtual RAM expansion.

Camera and AI Features

The Infinix Note 50 sports a 50MP OIS primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an AI lens, along with a 13MP front camera. The Note 50 Pro steps it up with a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a flicker sensor. It also features a higher-resolution 32MP selfie camera.

A unique addition is the Bio-Active Halo AI Lighting, which provides real-time visual feedback for various functions:

  • Camera recording and timers
  • Charging indicators
  • Notification alerts for calls and messages
  • Heart rate and SpO2 tracking

Additionally, Infinix AI∞, the brand’s AI assistant, can perform real-time call translation, AI-powered text editing, photo searches, and content generation.

Battery and Charging

Both phones pack a 5,200mAh battery, but their charging speeds differ:

  • Note 50: 45W wired fast charging
  • Note 50 Pro: 90W wired charging and 30W wireless MagCharge

Build and Software

The Armor Alloy metal frame provides added durability, and both phones run Android 15-based XOS 15. Other features include:

  • In-display fingerprint sensor
  • Dual JBL-tuned speakers
  • IP64 water and dust resistance
  • NFC and infrared blaster

Pricing and Availability

The Infinix Note 50 series is available in Indonesia at the following prices:

  • Note 50 (8GB + 256GB) – IDR 2,899,000 (~₹14,400)
  • Note 50 Pro (8GB + 256GB) – IDR 3,199,000 (~₹17,000)

The Note 50 comes in Titanium Grey, Ruby Red, Mountain Shade, and Shadow Black, while the Note 50 Pro is available in Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple, Racing Edition, and Shadow Black.
