Infinix has introduced its latest device in India - the Infinix Smart 8. Positioned alongside the Smart 8 HD, the new offering maintains several similarities but stands out with a distinct chipset and an upgraded primary rear camera sensor.

Equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD boasting an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, the Smart 8 takes user experience up a notch with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display features a punch hole for the front camera and offers 500 nits of peak brightness. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G36 Processor, coupled with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB storage.
Camera Capabilities
The rear camera setup adopts a square-shaped module housing a 50-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera sensor alongside an AI lens with an f/2.0 aperture. Complementing this setup is an LED flash module. On the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera sensor.

In terms of storage, users can expand up to 2TB using a microSD card. The device is fueled by a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting 10W charging.

The Infinix Smart 8 comes in four color options: Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Rainbow Blue, and Galaxy White. It is priced at ₹6,299 for the 4GB + 64GB model on Flipkart (at the time of writing). Infinix is offering a special deal that brings the cost down to ₹6,749 when you use an ICICI Bank card.
