Infinix Smart 8 Launched with Unisoc T606 SoC, 90Hz Display, DTS Sound
Infinix recently released a new budget smartphone under its Smart series in Nigeria. The Infinix Smart 8 succeeds the Smart 7 and boasts a nearly identical specs sheet to the Tecno Pop 8.
The Infinix Smart 8 features Unisoc chipset, a 90Hz display, a large battery with fast charging support, and a dual-camera setup on the back. The Infinix Smart 8 also features a Dynamic Island-like overlay, like the Mini Capsule Display on the Realme C53.

Infinix Smart 8 Price
The Infinix Smart 8 price in Nigeria is set at NGN 82,000 (roughly Rs 8,500) for the base 4GB/128GB mode. The Infinix Smart 8 is offered in Galaxy White, Shiny Gold, Crystal Green, and Timber Black color options.

The Infinix Smart 8 is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Moreover, up to 4GB of unused storage can also be utilized as Virtual RAM. The handset packs a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support over a USB Type-C port.
Infinix's latest budget smartphone sports a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 90% screen-to-body-ratio. The screen also boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display also supports Dark Region Enhancement (DRE) for easy outdoor visibility.
Infinix also claim that the speakers offer twice the volume and come with DTS support.
For optics, the Smart 8 boasts a 13 MP Dual AI camera system with an f/1.8 aperture and a Ring Flashlight. Up front, the phone's punch-hole cutout houses an 8 MP selfie camera that supports Face Unlock. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and runs on Android 13.
