Infinix is all set to announce another budget-centric smartphone named the Infinix Smart 8 Plus in India. The launch has been set for March 1 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

A dedicated microsite for the upcoming Infinix Smart 8 Plus has gone live, confirming the smartphone will go official on March 1, 12 PM IST. Alongside, the e-commerce site has revealed the key features of the Infinix Smart 8 Plus.

Infinix Smart 8 Plus: What to Expect?

As per the Flipkart listing, the Infinix Smart 8 Plus will pack a 6,000 mAh battery with support for Fast 18W Type-C charging. It is claimed to deliver up to 47 hours of calling, 90 hours of music playback time, and 45 hours of video playback time.

The smartphone is confirmed to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that will support an additional storage expansion of up to 2TB using a dedicated microSD card slot. The Infinix Smart 8 Plus will feature a 50MP dual-rear camera setup with a Quad-LED flash.

Other features are still under wraps. However, the Flipkart microsite has revealed that more details will be disclosed on February 28. For the unaware, Infinix officially announced the Smart 8 Plus last month in the international market. Although the brand did not reveal the price and availability of the Smart 8 Plus at the time of announcement.

The phone was launched with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera sensor. The smartphone runs XOS 13-based Android 13 Go and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

As per the Flipkart listing, the Infinix Smart 8 Plus will come under the Rs. 7,000 segment in India. Given that, we expect the upcoming Infinix phone will give tough competition to the other entry-level phones like the Tecno Spark 20C, Redmi A3, and so on.
