The Infinix Smart 9 HD is launching in India at 12 noon today (January 28). Following the launch, the phone will go on sale via Flipkart. As far as the price is concerned, it's expected to launch for less than Rs 10,000 in the country. Since there's no official confirmation regarding the same, it's better to take it as a hint and stay tuned for the official announcement.

The Infinix Smart 9 HD will succeed the Smart 8 HD, which will bring several upgrades. The upcoming Smart 9 HD is claimed to be the most durable smartphone in its segment. The company reports that the device has undergone an impressive 2,50,000 drop tests, highlighting its build quality. The phone will also feature an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It is confirmed to be available in three colour options namely - Mint Green, Coral Gold, and Metallic Black.
As far as the features are concerned, the Infinix Smart 9 HD will have a punch-hole 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz display, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a dynamic bar. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM (including virtual) and 64GB of onboard storage.
Moreover, the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery that is claimed to offer 14.5 hours of video playback and 8.6 hours of gaming. On the software front, it will ship with Android 14 Go Edition.
