Infinix Smart 9 HD Reportedly Launching Next Week in India; Check Expected Features, Design, and Launch Date

Infinix is reportedly launching a new budget-friendly smartphone soon in India dubbed the Smart 9 HD. The upcoming smartphone will succeed the Infinix Smart 8 HD, which was launched back in 2023.

While the brand hasn't shared any details about the upcoming phone, 91mobiles exclusively learned the India launch date. Moreover, the publication has shared a few more details including its design and colour options of the new Infinix smartphone. Let's dive into the details.

Infinix Smart 9 HD India Launch Date Revealed

According to the latest information, the Infinix Smart 9 HD will launch in India on January 17. The shared renders show the phone with a square-ish module placed on the top-left corner of the rear panel. It appears to have dual camera sensors paired with LED flash.

The report further claims the phone will have a multilayer glass back with flat edges and a colour-matched frame. It is said to come in Metallic Black, Mint Green, Coral Gold, and Neo Titanium colours.

According to the source, the upcoming Infinix Smart 9 HD will be the most durable phone in the segment with flagship-level durability tests conducted like six side drop tests from 1.5 meters distance and 2,50,000+ drop tests. Moreover, the volume rocker and power button will be on the right spine of the phone.

Apart from this nothing is known at this moment. As noted, the launch is expected to take January 17, we expect the brand will soon start teasing the arrival of the Infinix 9 HD.

To recall, the Infinix 8 HD was launched at just Rs 5,669, featuring a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, 13MP dual AI camera setup, and UNISOC T606 processor. Given that, we expect the successor could also be priced for less than Rs 10,000. However, we can expect a few upgrades in performance and battery.
