Infinix Zero 40 5G Launching Today at 12 PM in India; Expected Price and Features We Know So Far

Infinix is all set to unveil the Zero 40 5G smartphone today (September 18) in India. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live.

Infinix Zero 40 5G Expected Price and Features We Know So Far

The Zero 40 5G is confirmed to ship with Infinix AI and is touted to be the segment's first phone with a 4K 60 FPS video camera. The smartphone will likely feature a 6.78-inch display which is confirmed to be a 3D curved AMOLED panel that will support up to 144Hz refresh rate.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC. It will include a few advanced features such as an AI Eraser to remove unwanted objects from photos, and AI Wallpaper to generate custom wallpapers from texts or images.

There will be a 108MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor for imaging. Upfront, it will opt for a 50MP selfie sensor which will also support 4K 60fps video recording. The Infinix Zero 40 5G will offer a feature named AI Vlog, which will help users create vlogs.

Moreover, the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 45W wired fast charging and 20W wireless fast charging. It is confirmed to be available in three colour variants namely -- Rock Black, Moving Titanium, and Violet Garden. The Zero 40 5G will also measure 7.9mm in thickness and weigh 195g.

For the unaware, the Infinix Zero 40 5G was originally launched last month starting at $399 (roughly Rs 33,450). Considering this, we expect the smartphone could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in India. However, it's better to take this as a hint and wait for the official announcement.
