Infinix Zero 40 5G With AI Features Tipped To Launch Next Week in India; Expected Price and Specs

Infinix is expected to launch the Zero 40 5G smartphone next week in India. While the brand is yet to confirm the same, the latest information has revealed the launch date along with a few details about the upcoming Infinix Zero 40 5G.

Infinix Zero 40 5G India Launch Date Revealed

According to a new report (Via 91mobiles), the Infinix Zero 40 5G will be announced on September 18 at 12 PM IST. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart.

The publication has shared a teaser image, confirming the Infinix Zero 5G will come with Infinix AI which will include a few advanced features such as AI Eraser to remove unwanted objects from photos, and AI Wallpaper to generate custom wallpapers from texts or images. The Infinix Zero 40 5G will also ship with a feature named AI Vlog, which will help users create vlogs.

Infinix Zero 40 5G Expected Features

For the unaware, the brand already launched the Zero 40 series comprising the Zero 40 5G and the Zero 40 4G models in select global markets. We expect the Infinix Zero 40 5G will have the same set of specifications as the global variant.

This means the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

For imaging, the Infinix Zero 40 5G will offer a 108MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it will opt for a 50MP selfie sensor with 4K 60fps video recording support.

Moreover, the Zero 40 5G will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and Android 14-based Infinix UI. The smartphone will also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging and 20W wireless fast charging.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G price starts at $399 (roughly Rs 33,450). Given that, we expect the smartphone could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in India. However, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement.
