Infinix Zero Flip 5G Debuts as India’s Most Affordable Flip Smartphone with a Large Cover Display

Infinix has officially unveiled its first foldable smartphone in India in the form of the Zero Flip 5G. The Infinix Zero Flip 5G debuts as the most affordable flip smartphone in the country at launch.

According to Infinix, the Zero Flip 5G features the latest cover display in the segment. The Infinix Zero Flip 5G arrives with two 120Hz AMOLED displays, a MediaTek chipset, a sizeable battery given its form factor, fast charging support, a dual-camera setup, and the new Infinix AI.

Infinix Zero Flip 5G Price, Offers in India

The Infinix Zero Flip 5G price in India is set at Rs 49,999 for the sole 8GB/512GB configuration. The clamshell foldable is available in Blossom Glow and Rock Black colour options.

The Infinix Zero Flip 5G will go on sale through Flipkart starting October 24 at 12 noon IST. Additionally, SBI credit and debit card holders can get an instant discount of Rs 5,000 on the Infinix Zero Flip 5G.

Infinix Zero Flip 5G Specifications

The Infinix Zero Flip 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The packs a sizeable 4,720 mAh battery with 70W wired fast charging support.

The Zero Flip 5G sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2640 pixels) LTPO OLED display on the inside. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,400 nits, and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. Moreover, there's a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display with a 1056 x 1066 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The cover screen can act as a viewfinder for your camera and a shortcut to access popular apps like YouTube, WhatsApp, and more. It can also be used for vlogging using the AI Vlog Mode. The Infinix Zero Flip 5G runs Android 14-based HiOS out of the box. Infinix promises two years of Android OS updates and three years of regular security patches with the Zero Flip 5G.

For optics, the Infinix Zero Flip 5G boasts a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The inner display has a cutout for the 50MP selfie camera that supports PDAF. The Infinix Zero Flip 5G is capable of 4K video recording at 60fps on both the front and rear cameras. The phone's stereo speakers are tuned by JBL and support Hi-Res Audio.
