InFocus has added a new smartphone called the M810 smartphone to its product portfolio for India. The phone comes with a glass and metallic design, and brings Android's Lollipop flavour on board. The InFocus M810 will be exclusively available on Amazon India from July 15, for a price of Rs. 14,999.
At this price, the phone will be up against the likes of Micromax Canvas Sliver 5, and Xiaomi Mi4 that has recently got a price cut and is now available for price starting from Rs 14,999 (16GB).
Key Specifications and features, and comparison!
The company claims that the phone is a perfect blend of premium design and high-end features, yet is priced under Rs. 15,000. As for its design, the phone dons metal and glass chassis, and measures 6.99mm thin. In comparison, Micromax's Canvas Sliver 5 boasts an all metal chassis which is merely 5mm in thickness. It does however come at a higher price of Rs 17,999. The Mi4 has plastic chassis and measures 8.9mm in thickness.
The InFocus M810 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display offering 1080p resolution. The Xiaomi Mi4, on the other hand, sports a smaller 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, while the Canvas Sliver 5 comes with an even smaller 4.8-inch display with lower resolution of 720p.
It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also comes with an option to expand the internal storage to upto 64GB via microSD card. The Mi4 also comes with a similar chipset, however offers better RAM at 3GB. It has a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU.
Speaking of camera, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera with a true tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front. The company claims to have added photo-quality enhancing tools and other camera-mode options in the phone. The Mi4 also comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera with Sony Exmor sensor. The Micromax Canvas Sliver 5, in comparison, has an 8-megapixel rear camera coupled with 5-megapixel front facing camera.
In terms of software, the M810 runs Android Lollipop 5.0 Lollipop with InLife UI skinned on top, but the Mi 4 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.3 topped with MIUI 6. The Canvas Sliver too offers the Lollipop iteration, wrapped under native UI.
