The Indian market is all set to witness a slew of smartphone launches such as the Xiaomi Mi A1, Lenovo K8 Plus, iVoomi Me3 and Me3S this week. In the meantime, it looks like InFocus is teasing the launch of a new smartphone.

Infocus Turbo 5 Plus India launch is imminent

InFocus appears to be all set to launch the Turbo 5 Plus in the country. It looks like this one will be the successor of the InFocus Turbo 5 that went official in June at Rs. 6,999. The company has started teasing the upcoming launch on its official social media handles such as Facebook and Twitter. The company has also started sending invites for an event to happen on September 13, but the name of the device remains unknown. Eventually, the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is expected to be launched in India in the next week.

Infocus Snap 4 and Turbo 5 Plus First Impressions

The recent teaser spotted on the Twitter handle of InFocus India tips that the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus will be soon launched with powerful features and a capacious battery. Other than these aspects, nothing about this smartphone is known for now.

As it is said to be the successor of the Turbo 5 that was launched in June this year, we expect the upcoming model to feature better specs. To refresh on the InFocus Turbo 5, the smartphone was launched in two variants - 2GB and 3GB RAM models priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively.

When it comes to the specs front, the InFocus Turbo 5 comes fitted with a 5.2-inch HD 720p IPS display and flaunts a unibody metal design. Under its hood, the device comes equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC paired with 16GB/32GB storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

For imaging, the InFocus Turbo 5 features a 13MP main camera with LED flash and autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera as well. The connectivity aspects on board include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, OTG and dual SIM support. There is a fingerprint sensor at the rear of the device. A 5000mAh battery powers the InFocus smartphone and is claimed to offer 23 hours of talk time.
