Intex Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra Android smartphones launched, priced under Rs 5,000

    Following the launch of Q5, the domestic handset maker Intex has listed two more low budget device named as Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra on their official website.

    Intex Aqua A2 and Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra - Key Specifications

    Moving on to the specifications of the devices, both Intex Aqua A2 and Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra almost have same specifications.

    Some of the common specifications are, both the smartphones comes with 4-inch WVGA displays with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, 8GB of inbuilt memory, with an expansion option of 32GB via microSD card slot, features a 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, dual SIM support, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

    The phones however come with different processor that vary mainly in terms of RAM space. The Aqua A2 is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor along with 512MB RAM, while the Aqua Y2 Ultra is clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor besides 1GB of RAM.

    Also, the connectivity options are same for both the devices which include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.

    The Aqua A2 are available in Blue and Black variant, while the Aqua Y2 Ultra are available in Black, Blue, Champagne, and White variants.

    On the official Intex website, the Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra carry a price tag of Rs. 4,350 and Rs. 4,490 respectively.
