Intex Aqua Air with 5 inch display launched at Rs 4,690

Intex Mobiles has added yet another smartphone dubbed the Aqua Air to their budget segment. The Intex Aqua Air which falls in the sub - Rs 5,000 price category was spotted on the company's official website.

The Aqua Air sports a 5 inch WVGA (854x480) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core MediaTek 6572W SoC. This is complimented by a Mali 400 GPU and a 512MB of RAM. In terms of storage the Intex Aqua Air comes with a 8GB of internal storage along with room for memory expansion via MicroSD card slot (upto 32GB).

On the rear the Aqua Air sports a 2MP primary camera equipped with a LED Flash. Below the camera lies the Intex branding. Furthermore the smartphone comes with a VGA (0.3MP) front camera. Connectivity options include GPRS/Edge, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.

The Dual SIM handset is powered by a 2300mAh battery which can deliver upto to 8.5 hours of talk time and upto 300 hours of standby time as per company statement. The Intex Aqua Air runs on Android KitKat 4.4.

The Intex Aqua Air is available in black, silver and gold colour variants at a price of Rs 4,690. Earlier this month the homegrown manufacturer had launched two more budget handsets in the country namely the Aqua 3G NS and Aqua Wave which were priced at Rs 3,190 and Rs 2,949 respectively.
