Intex Aqua Trend 4G launched in India at Rs 9,499
Local mobile manufacturer Intex added a new device to their Aqua series dubbed the Aqua Trend. This is the company's second 4G device after its Aqua 4G+.

The device features a 5 inch HD display on the front. Under the hood is a new gen 64bit enabled Mediatek MT6735 SoC with four cores clocked at 1.3 GHz each. We are quite happy to finally see that Indian OEMs are making the change in the low range SoC by replacing the dated MT6582 with this new MT6735. This new SoC scores around 28,000 on Antutu Benchmark - as per avg scores recording in device running this SoC. The RAM is 2GB.

On the back is a 13 megapixel rear autofocus camera with a Sony sensor and a single LED Flash. The camera also features an antishake functionality. There's also a 5MP front snapper. The handset supports dual SIM slots with 4G LTE connectivity. The Aqua Trend 4G also features a HotKnot connectivity which allows two phones to share images and videos between them - this a features that we had previously seen in the Micromax Bolt series of smartphones.
The battery side is managed by a large 3000mAh unit which will ensure that your device doesn't run out of juice soon. The device will be offered in three colour options namely Champagne, Silver Gray and Black. Priced at Rs 9,499 Gizbot believes that this phone can give stuff competition to its counterparts from other local stables of Micromax and Xolo.

Additionally the device is coming with a 1 year of screen breakage warranty with a complementary Smart Cover. Intex have roped in Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu as their brand ambassador for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana for a tenure of one year. The company had off late had announced their plan of investing Rs 2,615 crore on setting up two manufacturing units in the country.
