Intex partners with Reliance Jio, offering additional 4G data to its users
Under this special benefit, all new Intex 4G Smartphone users, who are using Jio connection, can enjoy additional 5GB 4G data, per recharge, over and above what they normally get.
The domestic handset maker, Intex Technologies today announced its partnership with Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio in order to provide its 4G smartphone users with an additional 25GB 4G data.
Under this special benefit, all new Intex 4G Smartphone users, who are using Jio connection, can enjoy additional 5GB 4G data, per recharge, over and above what they normally get, on a recharge of ₹309 or above, limited to a maximum of 5 recharges.
Commenting on the partnership, Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head - Mobiles, Intex Technologies said, "With this (Jio) partnership, Intex is catering to the needs of the never-ending data appetite of today's tech savvy consumers especially during the festive season when data consumption will be limitless."
Nidhi said that "The world's largest end-to-end IP network of Jio and Intex's pan-India mobile distribution network will together be a delight for consumers. Partnering with Jio will surely boost our current and potential consumer base."
Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has completed one year of its operations and managed to garner 130 million customers.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in his letter to Jio employees, "In this past one year, we have broken several records, both in India and globally. But what gives me the biggest personal satisfaction is to have broken the myth that India is not ready to adopt advanced technology."
He said that the way country has embraced 4G technology and the way it is being used has become the case study for quantum technology leaps. With the launch of Jio services, the cost of 1 GB mobile data has come down to less than Rs 10 from around Rs 250 priced earlier by other telecom operators.
"Together we have created the largest end-to-end all -IP 4G network in the world...India has adopted Jio as its own. This is also reflected in the gigantic spurt in data consumption and customer numbers on our network," Ambani further added.
