Meanwhile, AirPods Live Translation adds new languages - Chinese (Mandarin, Simplified and Traditional), Italian, Japanese, and Korean. The feature, originally introduced with iOS 26 for AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods 4, already supports US and UK English, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain).

Additionally, iOS 26.1 refines the alarm dismissal process with a new Slide to Unlock interface and introduces a swipe gesture in the Music app for changing tracks, along with several other performance and usability improvements.

Apple is also rebranding Apple TV+ to simply Apple TV, introducing a vibrant new identity with a colorful app icon replacing the old gray one. Users can now adjust gain levels for local audio recordings made with external microphones. Additionally, Apple is preparing to expand support for more third-party AI providers beyond OpenAI's ChatGPT.
