iPhone 16 Might Launch on This Date Next Month, Suggests Leaked Poster
Apple is expected to unveil the next-gen iPhone 16 series next month. Now, a recent leak has disclosed the date for this event. Although Apple hasn't officially announced the launch date, tipster Majin Bu shared a poster indicating that Apple will launch the four new iPhones at Apple Park on September 10 at 10 am Pacific Time (10:30 pm IST).
Earlier, Mark Gurman suggested that Apple would stick to its usual timeline for launching the next-gen iPhone 16 series, with September 10 being a likely date. However, users will need to update their devices to iOS 18.1 to access all Apple Intelligence features.

To recall, Apple launched the iPhone 15 and 14 series on September 12 and September 8, respectively. Given this pattern, it's expected that this year too, the brand will follow a similar timeline and announce the next-gen models by the second week of September. However, we suggest our readers take this information with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official invite.
iPhone 16 Series: What to Expect
The upcoming iPhone 16 series is expected to include four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Reports indicate that the Pro and Pro Max models will have larger batteries compared to the iPhone 15 series. Additionally, Apple is likely to improve the camera system on the standard iPhone 16 models.
The new layout may feature a vertical camera arrangement with a pill-shaped protrusion. In addition to the iPhone 16 series, Gurman revealed that Apple will also launch AirPods 4 in two variants.
