iPhone 17 Air Could the Slimmer Than the iPad Pro M4, the Thinnest Apple Product
While the launch of the iPhone 17 series is far away, rumours have already started buzzing the internet. With the launch of the iPhone 17 series, Apple is said to introduce the thinnest Apple product to date. While it was rumoured to be named the iPhone 17 Slim, YouTuber Jon Prosser suggests it will be called the iPhone 17 Air.
He further states the iPhone 17 Air could replace the Plus variant and will sit between the iPhone 17 and the 17 Pro models. The price of the new model could be similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Despite featuring a large display, the iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to measure 5mm in thickness. This means, it could replace the new iPad Pro, which is the thinnest Apple product ever, measuring at 5.1 mm.
Other features of the iPhone 17 Air could include a single 48MP rear camera and an A19 chip. Other details are still unknown at this moment. We expect the design of the phone will be different compared to the current models.
While all are speculations and the launch is far away, we should focus on the iPhone 16 series launch, which is expected to take place in September, likely to include four models- iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, retaining a new design, larger batteries compared to the iPhone 15 series, and Apple intelligence.
However, users have to wait a few more months to experience Apple intelligence as the new software feature won't be available at the time of the iPhone 16's launch.
