Apple Reportedly Planning Price Hike for iPhone 17 in India

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, Apple could increase the price of all SKUs of the iPhone 17 in India. The iPhone 17 may see a price hike of up to Rs. 7,000 for both the 256GB and 512GB configurations. This would put the revised prices at Rs. 89,900 and Rs. 109,900, respectively. To recall, the iPhone 17 was launched at Rs. 82,900 for the 256GB base model, while the 512GB version costs Rs. 102,900.

The tipster also mentions that Apple could offer bank discounts on the revised pricing. The expected price hike is reportedly due to low stock availability and high consumer demand for the iPhone 17. If this turns out to be true, Apple will officially confirm the same.

iPhone 17 Specifications

The iPhone 17 has a 6.3-inch ProMotion display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and an always-on mode. It delivers up to 3000 nits of peak outdoor brightness and comes with Ceramic Shield 2, offering three times better scratch resistance.

The iPhone 17 runs on iOS 26 and supports Apple Intelligence features. For battery, the handset is claimed to offer up to 8 hours more video playback in just 10 minutes of charging.

Moreover, the iPhone 17 has a 48MP Fusion Main camera with a 2x optical-quality telephoto and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera. Upfront, it features an 18MP Centre Stage selfie camera.
