iPhone 17 Is Back in Stock on Apple’s Online Store, Orders Open Again in India
After weeks of checking listings and seeing nothing but “out of stock,” I finally saw a change worth noting. As of December 22, the iPhone 17 is showing up again on Apple’s online store in India, with both the 256GB and 512GB variants listed. Prices still start at ₹82,900.

I checked the 256GB iPhone 17 in the Sage colour first, and all colour options were available at the time. The same was true when I switched to the 512GB model. That’s a clear shift from earlier this month, when online availability had pretty much vanished across platforms.
Apple Is Showing January Delivery Dates
Being listed doesn’t mean quick delivery, though. On Apple’s site, the estimated delivery window is shown as January 7 to January 13, 2026, if I place the order today. So yes, you can buy it online again, but you’ll need to wait a couple of weeks.
The site also shows an in-store pickup option. For me, at the Apple Store in Koregaon Park, Pune, the earliest available pickup date is listed as January 13. That lines up almost exactly with the home delivery estimate.
This Looks Very Different From Early December
This is a noticeable change from what I saw earlier in December. Back then, the iPhone 17 looked completely unavailable online, even on Apple’s own site. Some offline Apple Stores still had units, but availability depended on the city and the store.
That gap between online and offline stock led to a lot of speculation around shortages and even possible price hikes. As of now, nothing has changed officially. Pricing remains the same, and Apple hasn’t said anything publicly about supply constraints.
Why the iPhone 17 Is Still in Demand
It’s not hard to see why the iPhone 17 is still moving fast. This year’s base model doesn’t feel like a compromise. The 120Hz display, improved cameras, and higher base storage make it an easy choice if you don’t want to pay Pro-level prices.
