The tipster claims to have insider knowledge of an iPhone 17 Pro commercial reportedly being produced by a film company that lists Apple as a client. However, MacRumors says it has not independently verified any of the information.

According to the leak, the iPhone 17 Pro will have an upgraded telephoto lens capable of up to 8× optical zoom, a notable jump from the 5× zoom on the iPhone 16 Pro. The lens is said to be movable, allowing for continuous optical zoom at various focal lengths.

An all-new pro camera app is also expected for both photos and videos. However, it's still unclear whether this app will be exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup.
