iPhone Air Launched in India with Titanium Build, A19 Pro Chip: Price, Full Specs, and Sale Date

Apple has introduced the iPhone Air in India, marking it as the thinnest iPhone to date. This model combines professional-grade performance with a sleek titanium design that is both lightweight and robust. Here's what the new model brings to the table.

iPhone Air Features

The iPhone Air measures just 5.6mm and weighs only 165 grams, making it the slimmest iPhone ever – yet it still packs a large and 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120Hz.

The iPhone Air's back is protected by Ceramic Shield, while its front cover boasts Ceramic Shield 2. This combination provides three times better scratch resistance than previous models.

Powered by the A19 Pro, N1, and C1X chips, the iPhone Air stands out as Apple's most power-efficient smartphone yet. The chip is claimed to deliver the fastest CPU in any smartphone and introduces most advanced GPU yet. Apple says it will allow users to enjoy even the most demanding AAA games.

Each of the GPU cores come with built‑in Neural Accelerator, providing new levels of capability for your daily workflows. The CPU alone is up to 40% faster than the chip in the iPhone 14 Pro.

Running iOS 26, the iPhone Air also supports Apple Intelligence features. For imaging, there is a 48MP Fusion camera system that works like multiple advanced cameras in one. Upfront, it opts for an 18MP Center Stage camera. Moreover, Apple brings several accessories, including the Crossbody Strap, which lets you wear your iPhone Air hands‑free so you can go with the float.

iPhone Air Price in India and Sale

The pricing for the iPhone Air in India begins at ₹1,19,900 for the 256GB variant. The 512GB version is priced at ₹1,39,990, while the 1TB model costs ₹1,59,900. It comes in Space Black, Cloud White, Light Gold, and Sky Blue colour options. Pre-orders in India begin September 12, with availability from September 19.
