iQOO 12 5G Launched in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 144Hz OLED Display, 120W Charging

The iQOO 12 5G has officially been unveiled in India. The iQOO 12 arrives as the first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in India. Moreover, it also comes with a ton of upgrades over its predecessor, the iQOO 11 5G.

The iQOO 12 5G features a Snapdragon chipset, an LTPO AMOLED display, a large battery, a triple-camera setup, and super-fast charging. Here's everything you need to know about the iQOO 12 5G.

The iQOO 12 price in India starts from Rs 52,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the iQOO 12 5G also comes in a 16GB/512GB variant that will set you back Rs 57,999.

The iQOO 12 sale in India will begin on December 14 at 12 noon via Amazon and iQOO.com, although Priority Pass holders will be able to purchase their devices on December 13 at 12 noon.

Customers using HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank debit and credit cards can get an instant Rs 3,000 discount on the purchase of the iQOO 12 5G. Additionally, iQOO is also offering exchange offers and No Cost EMI payment options on the iQOO 12 5G. Customers will also be entitled to an additional six-month warranty.

iQOO 12 5G Specifications

The iQOO 12 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Accompanying the Snapdragon SoC is a dedicated e-sports Q1 chip for an enhanced gaming experience. The handset also has a large vapor chamber and a four-zone cooling system for improved heat dissipation.

The iQOO 12 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR support. Additionally, the screen has a pixel density of 452 PPI and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The panel boasts an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz High frequency PWM dimming. iQOO latest flagship is equipped with 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The iQOO 12 runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. iQOO also promises year major Android OS updates and four years of regular security updates with its latest flagship smartphone. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and more.

For optics, the iQOO 12 boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP 1/1.3-inch light tracing primary sensor. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 64 MP periscope-telephoto sensor with an f/2.57 aperture, OIS support, and 100x digital zoom. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
