iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition in Desert Red Shade Launched in India: Check Price, Offers, Availability

iQOO will celebrate its four-year anniversary in India next week. To celebrate the auspicious occasion, the smartphone maker will launch a new version of the iQOO 12 5G in the country.

The iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition will debut as a special edition model of the iQOO 12, which was released in India as the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset back in December 2023.

The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition will go sale in India on April 9 at 12 noon (IST) through iQOO's official Indian website and Amazon. The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition price in India starts from Rs 52,999.

The special edition version of the iQOO 12 5G comes in a Desert Red shade and a vegan leather finish. Customers who purchase the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition through an HDFC Bank and an ICICI Bank card will get a flat discount of Rs 3,000.

The iQOO 12 price in India starts from Rs 52,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model, while the 16GB/512GB configuration costs Rs 57,999. The iQOO 12 was initially unveiled in Alpha and Legend color options. Apart from the design of the back panel, the other aspects of the Anniversary Edition are the same as the original version.

The iQOO 12 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Accompanying the Snapdragon SoC is a dedicated e-sports Q1 chip for an enhanced gaming experience. iQOO's flagship smartphone is equipped with 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The iQOO 12 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR support. Additionally, the screen has a pixel density of 452 PPI and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The panel boasts an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz High frequency PWM dimming.

For optics, the iQOO 12 boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP 1/1.3-inch light tracing primary sensor. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 64 MP periscope-telephoto sensor with an f/2.57 aperture, OIS support, and 100x digital zoom. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

The iQOO 12 runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. iQOO also promises year major Android OS updates and four years of regular security updates with its latest flagship smartphone. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and more. The iQOO 12 also features an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water.
