iQOO 12 Series Confirmed to Feature Q1 E-sports Chip, Triple Cameras with 100x Zoom Lens

The iQOO 12 series is set to arrive next week. The line-up is expected to include the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has set up an official page on its website.

The page confirms key details about the iQOO 12 series, including its design. The iQOO 12 series will debut as the second smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, following the Xiaomi 14 series.

The iQOO 12 series launch date in China is set for November 7 at 19:00 local time or 16:30 Indian time (IST). The company has set up an official page for the iQOO 12 series, where the device is shown to come in three color options.

The three shades include white, red, and black. The white model features a glass back finish and is designed in collaboration with BMW Motorsport. Additionally, the red variant features a vegan leather finish, while the black variant features a shimmering pattern.

The page also confirms a triple-camera setup on the back of the iQOO 12 series, which will include a main, ultrawide, and periscope-telephoto sensors. It also confirms that the telephoto lens will support 100x digital zoom. Jia Jingdong, Vivo Brand VP & GM, recently revealed that the iQOO 12 series will feature a 1/1.3-inch primary sensor with OIS support.

Moreover, the iQOO 12 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device will also feature a dedicated Q1 e-sports chip that is engineered to boost gaming performance. It will be capable of running select popular mobile games at 144fps with frame interpolation.

The iQOO 12 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is also expected to sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K E7 AMOELD display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The iQOO 12 series could also pack a 5,200 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. For optics, the iQOO 12 line-up will likely get a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and a 64 MP telephoto shooter.
