iQOO 13 to Launch in New Metallic Green Color on July 4 Ahead of Prime Day 2025

A fresh coat of paint is coming to one of iQOO’s most powerful smartphones. The iQOO 13 will be launched in a new metallic green color on July 4, just ahead of Amazon India’s annual Prime Day sale.

The updated look will be part of the Prime Day 2025 launches, with the device listed on a dedicated Amazon microsite.

While the official name for the green variant is still under wraps, the visuals suggest a glossy, eye-catching finish that could appeal to those who want something more vibrant than the usual grey or white options.

Same Flagship Power, Just More Color

Beyond the new green finish, nothing changes internally with the iQOO 13. The phone still delivers top-end performance with its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It comes in two variants: one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and another with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Both use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage technology.

The display is a standout feature. The 6.82-inch 2K OLED panel uses LTPO tech and supports a refresh rate between 1Hz and 144Hz. It gets bright too, with peak brightness rated at 1800 nits. For those sensitive to screen flicker, the 2592Hz PWM dimming support is a welcome touch. The panel also supports HDR for better contrast and color depth when watching compatible content.

High-Performance Gaming

Gaming is clearly a priority for this device. The iQOO 13 includes a Q2 gaming chip and a 7K vapor chamber cooling system to keep the phone cool under pressure. It supports gameplay at 144 frames per second in 2K resolution.

Camera Setup

The rear camera system includes three 50MP sensors: a main Sony IMX921 sensor with optical image stabilization, an ultrawide lens, and a telephoto lens with 4x lossless zoom. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera handles video calls and social media shots. Around the rear camera module, there is an RGB lighting ring called the Monster Halo. It supports 72 lighting effects and adds a bit of flair to the phone’s otherwise clean design.

Battery and Software Support

The iQOO 13 comes with a large 6000mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. This ensures that even heavy users can get through a full day without worrying about battery life. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box with iQOO’s FuntouchOS 15 skin. The company has promised four major Android updates and six years of regular security patches.

Price and Availability

The green iQOO 13 variant, which has already launched in China, is set to go on sale in India starting July 4 via Amazon. While the exact India pricing for this new color option will be revealed at launch, the existing 12GB + 256GB model is currently priced at ₹54,999, and the 16GB + 512GB version is listed at ₹59,999.

It will be sold alongside the existing Legend (white) and Nardo Grey options. Buyers can expect additional deals or bundled offers during the Prime Day window from July 12 to 14.
