iQOO 15 Key Specifications Confirmed Ahead of Launch Later This Month: What to Expect

The iQOO 15 is set to make its debut in China later this month. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has been gradually teasing details about the upcoming flagship iQOO 15.

The iQOO 15 is also expected to launch in India in December. This flagship phone will introduce wireless charging, marking a significant enhancement over the iQOO 13. We expect the iQOO 15 price in India to start from under Rs 60,000.

iQOO 15 Specifications and Features

The iQOO 15 will come equipped with wireless charging and boast IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for swift authentication and a USB-C port with USB 3.2 support for faster data transfers. The phone will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Ahead of its official release, the company has confirmed that the iQOO 15 will sport a QHD AMOLED display measuring 6.85 inches, supporting a refresh rate of 144Hz and peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. The handset is also rumoured to have an anti-reflective coating similar to that found on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Leaked information suggests the iQOO 15 will feature a primary camera with a 50MP sensor size of 1/1.5 inches, accompanied by a periscope telephoto lens also at 50MP. Additionally, it may house a substantial 7,000mAh battery and incorporate an innovative 8K vapour chamber cooling system for improved thermal management.

The upcoming phone is expected to offer enhanced durability alongside these hardware upgrades. The combination of advanced cooling technology and robust battery life aims to provide users with reliable performance even during intensive tasks or prolonged usage.

To put this into perspective, the earlier model, iQOO 13, was launched at Rs 54,999 for its base variant featuring 12GB RAM and storage capacity of up to 256GB. This positions the new model as a competitive option within its segment while offering notable advancements over its predecessor.
