iQOO 15 Ultra Camera Details Confirmed Ahead of Launch on February 4: Check Expected Specifications
The iQOO 15 Ultra is set to make its debut in China this week. While iQOO has been teasing several details about its first 'Ultra' flagship, those details have been centered around the handset's gaming capabilities.
Now, new information has emerged about the iQOO 15 Ultra's triple-camera setup on the back. The iQOO 15 Ultra launch date in China is set for February 4 at 07:00pm local time or 04:30 pm IST.

iQOO 15 Ultra Cameras
According to iQOO, the 15 Ultra will feature a 50MP Sony 3x super periscope telephoto camera with CIPA 4.5-level optical image stabilization, which is the same stabilization seen on Vivo's flagship X300 series.
Moreover, the device will also come with Vivo's flagship imaging algorithms, including the NICE 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine and the Magic 2.0 Image Restoration Engine, to improve detail and image fidelity. This suggests that the iQOO 15 Ultra won't primarily focus on gaming.
Apart from the telephoto lens, the iQOO 15 Ultra will also feature a 50MP primary camera with the same level of stabilization and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. Moreover, it is also expected to get a 32MP selfie camera up front.
iQOO 15 Ultra Specifications
The iQOO 15 Ultra will debut as the second smartphone from the brand to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The chip will be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options may reach 1TB using UFS 4.1, aimed at users installing many large games.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is reported to feature a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. LTPO technology should allow variable refresh rates to save power during lighter tasks. The display size and refresh rate indicate a device built to showcase smooth gameplay and video content.

Powering the iQOO 15 Ultra will be a 7800mAh silicon carbon battery, according to the leak. The phone is said to support 100W wired fast charging and also include wireless charging support. The standard iQOO 15 already offers 40W wireless charging, so the Ultra is expected to match or improve on that capability.
Beyond the main chipset, the iQOO 15 Ultra is tipped to carry a new Q3 gaming chip, replacing the Q2 chip found in the iQOO 15. The device is also rumoured to include air triggers on the frame, giving players extra shoulder inputs during games, similar to dedicated gaming smartphones.
The leak adds that iQOO is using an internal active cooling fan for the iQOO 15 Ultra, echoing the approach seen on the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro. Official teasers from iQOO show an 8000mm² vapour chamber as well. Taken together, these features underline that gaming stability and cooling are major design priorities.
