The smartphone is set to launch in India on 24 February 2026, and iQOO has now officially confirmed a new variant called “Dark Knight.” While the company has already teased key performance claims and hinted at pricing, the latest update adds another piece to the puzzle of what the iQOO 15R could look like when it arrives.

A new “Dark Knight” colour joins the lineup

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15R will be available in a Dark Knight colour variant, described as a deep black finish. The reveal came through a post on X, where the brand positioned the colour as minimal on the surface but strong in presence.

So far, the Amazon microsite for the device has only showcased a blue checkered textured colour variant that was teased earlier. The Dark Knight option suggests that iQOO is aiming to offer at least two distinct visual styles for the phone at launch.

Launch timeline and performance claims are already clear

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15R will launch in India on 24 February 2026. The company has also revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.

Alongside the chipset announcement, iQOO claims that the device has achieved an AnTuTu score of over 3.5 million. This positions the iQOO 15R firmly in the high-performance segment, at least on paper.

While iQOO has confirmed the chip, it remains unclear whether the device will also feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage
