iQOO 16 Key Specifications Leaked: Triple 50MP Cameras, 165Hz Display and 8,500mAh Battery Tipped
The iQOO 16 is shaping up to be a performance-focused flagship with several high-end specifications. Ahead of its expected launch in China, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed new details about the smartphone's camera setup. The latest leak suggests that iQOO could equip the upcoming handset with three 50-megapixel rear cameras.
iQOO 16 Camera Specifications (Expected)
According to DCS, the iQOO 16 is currently being evaluated with a triple rear camera setup featuring 50-megapixel sensors across all three cameras.

The primary camera is reportedly based on a 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/1.68 aperture, making it the largest and brightest sensor in the setup. DCS has previously suggested that the main camera could use the OmniVision OV50Q sensor.
The ultra-wide-angle camera is tipped to feature another 50-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Meanwhile, the periscope telephoto camera could use a 1/1.95-inch 50-megapixel sensor paired with an f/2.65 aperture.
The tipster also claims that the camera arrangement could follow an inverted layout. However, the exact telephoto and macro capabilities of the setup are reportedly still being evaluated.
iQOO 16 Specifications and Features (Expected)
The camera leak follows earlier reports that the iQOO 16 could feature a 6.85-inch Samsung-made flat display with a 2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
The handset could reportedly pack a massive 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, along with wireless charging support.
Other tipped specifications include a dedicated display chip, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, 1115-series symmetrical dual speakers and a 0916-series X-axis linear motor. The phone is also expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, USB 3.2 connectivity and an AR coating for the display.
iQOO 16 Launch Timeline
The iQOO 16 is expected to debut in China around late September or early October. iQOO has yet to officially confirm the launch date or specifications, so the details should be treated as leaks until the company makes an announcement.
If the reported specifications are accurate, the iQOO 16 could combine flagship-level performance with a surprisingly capable camera system, a high-refresh-rate 2K display and one of the largest smartphone batteries in its segment.
