iQOO Neo 7 Launch Event in India Today: Check Out Price and Specs

iQOO is set to launch its highly anticipated mid-range smartphone, the Neo 7, in India today. The company will hold a virtual launch event at 12 PM IST, which you can watch live on iQOO's YouTube channel. iQOO has revealed key specifications ahead of the smartphone's launch. The device will have a 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery and will be the first smartphone to ship with MediaTek's Dimensity 8200 processor.

iQOO Neo 7: Price, Specifications

iQOO hasn't revealed the official pricing of the device yet, but leaks suggest that the iQOO Neo 7 could start from Rs. 29,999. Other rumors suggest that the base variant could come for Rs. 26,999 inclusive of offers. According to sources, buyers with HDFC, ICICI, or SBI bank debit or credit cards could also receive a flat Rs 1500 discount.

In terms of specifications, the iQOO Neo 7 will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, making it the first phone to do so. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The device will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a 2,000Hz instant touch sampling rate. The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

As for the optics, the device is rumored to come with a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera.

On the software side, the phone is expected to boot Android 13 with FunTouchOS 13 on top.

Lastly, the phone will come with an under-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speaker support. However, the device will not come with a headphone jack and instead will support USB Type-C audio.

iQOO Neo 7: Availability

While iQOO has not revealed how users can purchase the iQOO Neo 7, but based on the company's previous phones, the device is expected to retail via iQOO's official website and Amazon India. The first sale details are also yet to be revealed.
