iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 5,500 mAh Battery, 1.5K OLED Display Launched

While all eyes were on Samsung with the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, iQOO unveiled a new smartphone in China. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ arrives as an upgrade over the iQOO Neo 9S Pro by replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Apart from the new chip, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ also comes with a larger battery and a larger primary rear camera. Additionally, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ also offers better battery endurance, although the rest of the specifications are the same as the iQOO Neo 9S Pro.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ Pricing, Color Options

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus price in China starts from CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 34,500) for the 12GB/256GB model. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ is offered in Buff Blue, Star White, and Fighting Black shades. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will go on sale in China from July 16.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ also comes in 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations that will set you back CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 39,100), CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 37,950), CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 42,550), CNY 4,099 (roughly Rs 47,150), respectively.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ Specifications

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 750 GPU. The phone also comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset also packs a 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling, with an area of 6043mm².

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. The screen features a pixel density of 452 PPI and a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.

For optics, iQOO's latest handset boasts a 50 MP Sony IMX921 primary camera sensor with OIS and Vivo's VCS Bionic Technology. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with 119° FOV. Up front, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ opts for a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ runs Android 14-based OriginOS 14. For security, the phone boasts an Ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock. The handset packs stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio. Connectivity options include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, and more.
